WHEN: MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2008 WHERE: SUN LAKES COUNTRY CLUB, NAVAJO ROOM TIME: 7:00 P.M
The Sun Lakes Democratic Club will have a “Summer Special” meeting introducing several of our Democratic Candidates. Cris Gramazio and Rebecca Schneider are running for the 6th Congressional District seat. Tim Nelson, candidate for Maricopa County Attorney will discuss his plans for the office. These candidates will be on the primary ballot on September 2nd. Representative Ed Ableser of District 17 will present on the recent legislative session. Ed received undergraduate degrees in political science and Chinese from ASU in 2008. He earned a Masters of counseling degree in 2004 while working as an ASU instructor. Currently, he is working towards a doctoral degree in Public Administration and Justice Studies at ASU. In 2004, Mr. Ableser received the City of Tempe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. award for his work with the homeless and impoverished communities. Ed is dedicated to a life in public service.
